Safe Use of AI in Dental Health

Full control over responsibilities and documentation for AI in dental healthcare.

This is what we establish

Mapping of Actual AI Usage

Before responsibility can be assigned, actual usage must be known. Most clinics today use AI without having a comprehensive overview.

Role and Responsibility Architecture

When AI is used, it must be clear who is responsible—and for what.

Guidelines and Boundaries

AI requires boundaries. Not everything that is possible is allowed—or desirable.

Human control and override

AI can support but never replace human responsibility.

Patient Communication (Explainability)

Patients have the right to understand how technology affects them.

Supervisory and Complaint Preparedness

Questions rarely come announced. Structure must be in place beforehand.

About Us

Actera is about governance and responsibility for the use of AI in dental health.

Artificial intelligence is already used in dental health – in diagnostics, record keeping, administration, and patient communication. The challenge rarely lies with the technology. It is the lack of structure around responsibility, use, and explainability. Actera assists dental clinics in establishing clear guidelines for how AI is utilized, who carries the responsibility, and how this can be documented and explained to patients, staff, and regulators. We do not deliver technology, do not make clinical decisions, and do not replace the dentist's professional responsibility. Actera provides governance, overview, and documentation – so that when questions arise, the clinic has answers.
